I've been seeing a guy for about 5 months, and we've slept together once about 1 month ago. Stupidly we didn't use protection and now i'm pregnant. I'm not going to have the baby. Should I still tell him and if I should how should I tell him?

I'm not going to have the baby because I'm in the middle of my degree and have no way to support a baby. Should I still tell him and if I should how should I tell him?

In my opinion it really depends on how serious you are about NOT having the baby.. If you are totally sure you do not want the baby then i wouldn't tell him. It will only cause un needed stress and upset on you when you are already at a difficult time.. But if there is a small chance maybe you do want the baby and you are thinking maybe this guy might to and looking for excuses to keep baby then tell him. Straight up! If he was prepared to have sex with you and grown up enough not to use protection he can take being told you are pregnant!! Good luck in whatever you decide. Xx

I know a lot of people feel that since the baby is inside the girl's body, the girl has the right to decide on abortion by herself. I don't think that's fair. You should tell him and let him be part of the decision making process, he might agree that an abortion is best, or maybe he'll want the baby, or maybe the two of you can put the baby up for adoption to a loving couple who badly wants a baby but can't have one of their own. It sounds like this guy can't be all that bad if you've been with him for 5 months, don't you think he deserves to know the truth?

yes the father of the baby has a right to know that you are pregnant. although you are getting rid of the baby, you still need to tell him.
just tell your boyfriend that you are pregnant but you already made your choice about what you want to do. if he tries to stop you because he wants to keep it, then talk to him about it.
if you really dont want to keep the baby then tell him that you are not ready to be a parent because you want to have a great paying job before you have a baby so you know for sure that he will be well taken care of with no financial problems.

If you are sure he is the only one you slept with. tell him straight to his face The he is the father of the child. And he needs to be part of it financially and emotionally,

Please let the father know... I do not support abortion, but believe it may be best in some situations...Give the guy a chance to have a voice in this crucial decision... You will be thankful later that the decision was mutual...

im sorry to say ,i feel you should tell him the truth,word for word, i know it won"t be eazy -but its the only way ,,,, he"ll be up-set but im sure it won"t last long ... tel him that your not sure what to do ,,,,that you need him more than ever... wish you the best ----good luck........
