I doubt it but you should try anyway. Did you get a fine where you have to pay or just a warning? If you got medical treatment right after the accident I'm surprised they let you drive home with a head injury that caused dizziness. They usually fight it so they have to only pay a minimal amount. If it's work-related then they have to pay your medical bills. Don't back down or let them intimidate you.

If you got hurt at work and made a report on when it happened, and it was clearly there fault that you got hurt, you have a case on workman comp.
I worked in a production plant for 14 years. Even when I triped over a pallet and sprained my ankel, workman comp tooked care of it. Along & along working there, I had MANY "boo-boo's". I went to the companys' doc and as long as I was under his care, weather I went back to work or had to stay out a while, the company took care of ALL my medical, even my surgeries. So if you have the papers from the doc that says "yes, the injuries you have was related to your job" you should not have any problem. I will tell ya, workmans comp just might want you to settle and they will offer you a certain amount, if any, and you think , my injuries are worth more than that(but don't get to greedy). You might have to get a lawyer if you have to fight it. Do not sign anything, until you know for sure, everything is all said and done. Once you sign that is it! The workman comp doc should have all the records you need. Also, keep complaining to the doc about everything, don't do anything outside the home,(yard work, shopping, driving ect.) I hope the doc hasn't gave you the ok to return to work. It is not uncommon that work would have someone "spying" on you, to see if you are infact hurt as bad as you say. Most lawyers have a free consultion for the first time. Get one that knows the workmans comp stuff. Ask him to give you some advice on how to handel the claim if it comes to that. Injuries of the head and back can give you future problems so think about that as well. Always ask for a high amount($$$) if it comes to that. Never tell workmans comp how much your asking, get an amount from them first. Lets just say, you tell them your price (10,000.00) they would say OK. With them knowing you could have gotten 4xs as much, but they aren't going to say anything. Understand?
My nephew got hurt at work and he has been out several months. He is drawing a comp check, and he found out that work is going to pay for his re-schooling to learn another trade.
Good luck

Under the Workers Compensation Act, if you injure yourslef at work _ even if you're at fault, your employer is liable for your medical expenses.
You should see a doctor and have them record that your illness is work related. It is vital that you have a doctor confirm this. Regardless, your work place should have sent you to their 'work' doctor to confirm your injury. Don't let yoour workplace bully you. At the end of the day, they're at fault.
