Full Metal Panic!
That's the only one I can come up with off-hand that is funny. A lot of my friends like Naruto, but it doesn't do it for me. Doesn't mean you won't like it, it's just not my thing. I am more into things like Gunslinger Girl, Wolf's Rain, Ghost in the Shell, Area 88, drama and action type things. That Full Metal Panic! is somthing that I enjoy is most likely because I have seen so many animes that poking fun at some of the more mediocre, or even the better ones, is funny to me.

Here's some of what I think is funny and worth watching...hope it helps!!!
Yakitate Japan! - This anime is surely an adventure and comedy in genre. It's all about baking...but they got funny reactions after eating some bread...
The Law of Ueki - This anime is Adventure, action and comedy in genre...though it's an action anime, I learned something from it...
Naruto - This is the season one...some episodes contains comedy, especially those individual stories that are not part of any fillers.
Naruto Shippuden - try watching this one after you watch the first season, Naruto. You might get confuse who the heck those characters being said in the story.
-Alice Academy - about a young girl named Mikan who enters an academy for people who got special powers called Alice.
That's all what I can think of...but if you prefer some animes that contains maybe a little bit or none at all comedy, here's the list...
-Magic Knight Rayearth
-Shaman king
-R.O.D. The TV
-Jigoku Shoujo
-Black Cat
-Vision of Escaflowne
-Death Note (I prefer you watch the live action...it's better than the anime series.)
-Gokusen (I also prefer you to watch the live action instead...it's better and funnier)

Naruto-Its pretty funny and it has action,it makes place in a ninja villgae this anime is really popular in Japan.It has 9 seasons
Naruto Shippuden-You should watch this after you finsh episode 221 ,this part of Naruto skips 2 in a half years into the future.
Kyou Kara Maou-A 15 year old boy name Yuri goes into another world and finds out that he's the Maou(demon king)Yuri has black hair and black eyes which makes him stand out too much in that world.Its an action anime,but it has a lot of funny moments

AdultSwim on Cartoon Network usually play some pretty good ones: Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, those are my favorites. They also play Inuyasha, Bleach, Paranoia Agent, Trinity Blood and a few more. Most of the anime they play is pretty good and they all have their funny moments.

Hajime no Ippo is the funniest thing I've ever seen... you'd have to download it though, its not out in America...
Rurouni Kenshin is another really good one... though the anime is
dumbed down alot, and the English voices are annoying.
Otherwise, Bleach and Naruto are awesome. The Americanized (or at least Cartoon Network) version of One Piece was watered down so much there's almost no point in watching it, but its pretty darn good.....
Trigun cracks me up.... and I've heard that Eyeshield 21 is awesome, though I haven't tried it yet.
Other ppl have said Ouran. It is hilarious... but its so much for girls that is makes me embarrassed to be caught watching it.
Nya... besides that.... Full Metal Panic is awesome.

Narutos the new pokemon, its making that same level of success pokemon is when i was in year 4, ever since then no animes dominated like that until naruto came out.
When part 2 came out so many people were searching for naruto that youtube got slow that day.
And go to crunchyroll.com theirs thousands of animes their rgister for free and watch anyone you want or just go to dailymotion.com or even peekvid.com

NARUTO and BLEACH r the most popular and r both action anime. but i think naruto is better cuz of naruto shippuuden(hurricane chronicles)
