Why Americans voted for George Bush senior which made the gulf war and voted twice, I repeat two times, for GW Bush junior? What made Americans do that to Bush dynasty 3 times, voted them as their president then hate them all afterwards?
Will Americans make the same mistake for the 2008 presidential election?
No bashing here please, give your thoughtful and knowledgeable answers because you really don't know which nationality I am....

Allow me to point out that some 2.5 million more people voted against Bush than voted for him in 2000. But, it's not the popular vote that matters, it's where the vote is concentrated.

In 2004, Bush won a very narrow victory. There are lots of people who would have voted based on the old saying "Don't change horses midstream." This happens a lot during war times. People would vote for him to ensure continuity of leadership and unity rather than risk a more radical change in policy.

It is, however, quite possible than Americans will make another mistake in 2008. It won't be for a Bush, though. Dubya is ineligible. And his father and brother Jeb aren't running.

Hello! WHMADO.
My thoughts President Bush is doing the best job he knows how.
He has made decisions for which he thinks are the best for the country at the risk of not being able to please the rest of the country.
What people need to remember is that America was minding its own business when it came under attack on 9/11.
This president has done a good job from letting it happen again on home soil.
I understand people are afraid but fear will not keep a terrorist attack from hitting the country again at some point.
Alert citizens free from fear and respect for military and government will!!.
I believe people need to vote for common sense problem solving devises .
If people vote with emotional concepts the country is in trouble.
Do not look at the man look at the message.
President Bush has kept the country so far from attack.
The difference is some people would rather be secure than free.
It is better to be free than secure.
President Bush has done a good but tough job.
Take care!

i can ask the comparable of bill Clinton. the 1st time grow to be a party chop up with Ross Perot interior the race however the 2d time grow to be purely nuts. it relatively is clean to work out you Democrats all in an uproar over it. We Republicans did no longer throw this style of tantrum while Clinton grow to be President two times. You progressives are so a snicker. I voted for President Bush through fact he's a Republican, I consistently vote Republican. All via the chilly conflict the Democrats did each thing they might to lose to the Soviet Union, i'd help everyone who opposes a Democrat. To me, Democrats are traitors. it relatively is a character flaw i can by no ability forgive.

It's because (unfortunately) whilst there's a large number of Americans saying they detest the Bush dynesty, they are actually in a minority - there's a huge silent majority (or at least there was during the 2000 elections, less so in 2004). These voters just aren't as vocal.

People vote for good Presidents and bad both terms at times. Regan served two terms and was one of the greatest Presidents we ever had. People voted for Clinton twice but if you polled people you couldn't find anyone to admit that they really voted for him.

Not all Americans voted for Bush. His margin of victory was rather slim.

i personally did NOT vote for bush. he cheated to become president. i'm still trying to figure out why our government counts the votes by state instead of as a whole.
