Depends on what browser you are using.
I use firefox, and to get rid of them on mine I click Tools, then click Clear Private Data.
A pop up box asks which stuff you want to delete, and that's on the list.
Internet Explorer is similar I think, just go to tools, internet options, delete items in history.
But I can't give exact steps for that, since I stopped using MIE a few years ago.

Open up Internet explorer...on the top..click on Tools...Then Internet Tools...then Delete...you can delete everything from there..your history, passwords and auto forms...good luck

put your mouse arrow on the word and press delete. or to clear your search history go to tools internet options then clear history. one of these should answer your question i hope, but i suck with computers so don't take my word for it.
