this is a bizarre question to the sitcom, roseanne. dan and crystal is stated to be siblings. if that's true then they are brother and sister. at least that's what i heard in an episode that i recently seen when crystal is having a baby in the episode when roseanne wants a manager job.
here's the puzzling question. dan's father lives with crystal somewhere down the course of the series. so why would dan, related to his father, be married to crystal, who is also related to crystal. is this a plothole or am i missing something?

Dan referred to Crystal "like a sister." Crystal ended up being Dan's stepmother. They were never linked by bloodline in the show prior to Ed marrying Crystal.

Let's see if I can help.. I love the show.. I have to say the last episode is by far the best series finale I have ever seen.
Anyway back to your question.. they aren't brother and sister. By chance the only way I think they would even state that Crystal and Dan are bro/sis is due to the fact that Rosanne probably considers Crystal a "sister". You are correct though, Dans father marries Crystal.. Crystal has a kid which would make it Dan and Rosie's sibling. Crystal would technically be "mom". Sorry I couldn't help you out more.. though I do wonder what happens to her down the road. She seems to disappear and is never heard from again.

Dan's father is married to Crystal. That is how they are related. Dan's brother would be the baby that Crystal had. She has a son from her first marriage.
The only way Dan and Crystal are related is by marriage. He is technically her step-son even though they are the same age.
Dan's father is divorced from his mother because of her mental illness.

They are not brother and sister as far as I know . Crystal is Roseannes friend from work when they worked in the factory with Booker( George Clooney) Crystal then gets married to Dans Dad And has A Baby With Him

They are not siblings. Dans dad married Crystal about 1/2 way through the series. She is his step mom. Before that they were good friends and grew up together. He thought of her like a sister. They are not blood related, only by marriage to his dad.

Dan is not nor was he ever Crystals brother. Crystal was married to his father and has a son that is Dan's half brother.

It's been awhile for me, I thought in the first episodes that Roseanne and Dan were best friends with Crystal and her husband, who got buried in a cement pillar. Dan was always the one she turned to for a shoulder to cry on. Yes she later married Dan's dad.
