how do i record a program from my sky plus + box to a dvd recorder, WHAT SCART LEAD CONNECTIONS NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE BOX AND THE TV AND THE RECORDER ????

use the second scart output from the sky box, using scart. The other end goes into the dvdr scart input..
this will allow you to record sky, or move from the hard drive onto disc.

Just record them with a DVD recorder, or capture with a capture card on your computer. There is no way to "take" the recordings as files or data directly from the DVR if that is what you are thinking.
