It has never been established who KYLE XY is. I can only conclude from the events is he is some type of clone from the original person they found in the photo's at college. That person might have been in the experiment but we haven't seen him other then the photo. I'm sure we'll get tidbits of more information in season 2 which from what I've read hasn't started filming yet. I do hope they don't drop this show because I was really getting into it and thought it was rather good. I guess only time will tell. I love the young actor who plays Kyle.............

Kyle XY is an American drama television series about Kyle, a boy who wakes up in the forest outside of Seattle, Washington with no memory of his life up until that point. The series follows Kyle as he tries to understand the mysteries of who he is, such as why he has no belly button or why he has no memory of being a child.
KYLE XY true life name is Matthew Joseph Dallas (born October 21, 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona)
i really love that series, i hope they will make season 2 pretty soon!

It is/was a TV series that involved a guy/kid that a family found in the wilderness. He is super smart,(he learned English in a matter of hours), and he has no navel. It is believed that he is a clone, (hence no navel). It was only on one season, don't know if they'll air another season. But I think it was pretty good.

if ur asking for his real name i dont know but i cant wait for the show to come back on..its great..and it helps that hes cute. he like a alien but not with alot of super powers who doesnt know where he came from and hes trying to find that out. at the end of the first season he starts to piece together who he is.
