It's not an abnormality, as that implied a naturally-occurring condition. Rather it is mutilation, usually done to infants who have no control over their status.

The cleanliness issue is just silly. If you wash it, it's clean. Would you chop off your ears because it's too much trouble to wash behind them?

Ninety percent of women who have been with both natural and mutilated men prefer natural. See http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html

Genital mutilation is an abomination, but it is not, strictly speaking, an abnormality.

And, no, I don't know what it feels like to be circumcised, and I'm not about to find out! Anybody who gets near my crotch with something sharp is in BIG trouble. I also don't know what it feels like to be castrated, and I'm not about to find that out either.

in the United States being circumcised is the norm. So it would be safe to say that in the U.S., to be uncircumcised would be considered, not necessarily an abnormality, but much different than what people are used to seeing.
There is nothing wrong with being circumcised or uncircumcised, it is simply a matter of choice and preference. People of other countries and cultures do not have the customary practice of circumcision...for example, most European and South American countries. So it would be safe to assume that to them, seeing a circumcised penis is something out of the ordinary. I guess it all depends on your geographical position on earth. Countries where circumcision is a common practice include The U.S., The Philipines, Muslim countries (Middle East), Africa, and now to some extent, Australia.
Again.....being circumcised or uncircumcised is a normal part of life, the only thing that makes it an issue is people's particular preference one way or the other.
Best of Luck

P.S. Nice to have you back "MAPLE"....I missed your comments!

If you live anywhere else other than the US, and a few other nations, it would most likely be considered one, just because they're rare. Otherwise, they work mostly the same.

I don't know where James pulled those "advantages" out of but I've never had any problems with my uncircumcised penis, other than you have to slide it back to wash it, but that takes like 5 seconds; less than most other body parts. It also keeps the head covered (keeping it moist and sensitive) and it's very pleasurable because it glides up and down during sex and masturbation, stimulating the head without any lubricant (foreskin is like your eyelids; moist inside).

No matter how you look at it, they all have many advantages and disadvantages.

Nop...Let me enlighten you it is actually 6xtimes better than an average one.Why you may ask, well here it is..
1.No maintainance for the guy.
2.No problem in masturbating or having sex for that matter even if the guy is young because he does not have the foreskin issue.
3.More pleasurable for the girl.
4.More easier for the guy to 'put in' than the normal one.
5.Less chance of being caught in the zipper
6.No pain in curiosity of pullling out the foreskin and waiting for ages cause it is already done for you.

Hence im sure you now do understand that it is not an abnormality but should actually be regarded as a necessity lol.Hope this helped ya

No, not at all, although there is a growing body of opinion that regards circumcision as being unnecessary. Earlier comments about a circumcised penis being "cleaner" are nonsense.
