While India have a chance to win the world cup if their players play to their potential with proper application, dedication, determination and fighting spoirit, since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of any tournament.
As it stands now all the top 8 countries have a chance to win the world cup. The final outcome will purely depend upon which country play to their potential consistently.

With three 10000 walas in the team this is the best chance.
The team is also peaking with recent wins both while batting first and chasing.
S.A and W.I also have good chance.I have doubts about NZL.

India have good chances to win the world cup...
however the greatest threat are the anti-India umpires who have powers to slap run-out and LBW against Indians and Pakistanis...
there should be counter checking over such precise decisions...

All of us know India has potential and just need to capitalise on it
It depends on the team performance as a whole if the team performs India would surely win well thats obvious
Moreover it depends on Sachin's performance as it boost up the whole team

i don't think india can have wc2007 because team in it sence is not as a team but now a days it has shown its flying colours by winning against shri lanka i think india can only reach till semi final
