Oh contrare! Republicans, unlike their counterpart of a lesser party, do stay informed! I believe that anyone who professes to be a Republican can usually sight good reason for being so, unlike the dodder heads who sight being liberal as a reason for existence.
I get much of my daily information from Yahoo home page, in that it offers up to date information on current events. The newspaper is still my most complete news gathering media, in that it offers information and stories never seen on the TV news, internet, or other news sources.
I can gather news from CNN just as comfortably as Fox news! I don't allow the news stations to form my opinion for me, so those who are so hung up on these news stations attempting to slant the news, they can only do it to the most vulnerable among us.

You can't rely on any news sources -- if you do, guaranteed you won't be informed. You are a partisan with blinders on if you think Dems are any better informed than Reps, or more honest, or nobler, etc. To the extent that you believe that, it is a measure of your gullibility, and of the intensity of your auto-indoctrination.
The Liberals dominate TV networks, the conservatives, the radio stations. Fox News is the TV exception, and NPR the radio exception.
Here's a little quiz for you. Can you define unilateral? Is it a hate crime when gays torture and kill a straight, or only the other way around? Were Bush and his henchmen the actual perpetrators of 9/11? (Approx 30% of Americans believe it -- whose fault is that?)
Staying informed is not as easy as watching, listening, or even reading the news from the media or blogs -- you have to dig a bit, and you need to have a civil dialog with intelligent political opponents.
Stick to issues rather than demonizing opponents, be honest, and work at keeping your biases in check -- we all have them, but some of us don't seem to notice our own.

PBS and the BBC are the least biased. those are the only information publicizes which will conceal the information intimately and communicate approximately how particular events impact the known public. Nightly community information talks with reference to the massive thoughts and experience sturdy thoughts. i do no longer see them as being the two left or top. Cable information Networks have MSNBC to the left, CNN is predicated, FNC is right.
