Mj and DR j just were too hard on them.If u saw th judges faces they were sleepy and i doubt they got impressed. But they didn't get impressed of howards "sticky" dunk?oh mygod that is originality and athleticism.

Quite frankly they felt uncomfortable and BORED. The 5 that were there (Jordon, Dr J, Vince, Dominique and Kobe) are/were the best slam dunkers of the NBA. The 4 that competed, did what we expected...a repetition of previous years dunks...they lacked originality and luster.
There was also another thing to mention - the judges were also uncomfortable with the scoring cards - they struggled with them, especially KOBE. NBA should take note of this.

Yah, I think so. I think whoever's idea this was was a good one, since the thinking goes that if you wanna see a good dunk, let the best dunkers judge. But guys like MJ and Kobe, they'll never let themselves get excited over the dunks that they pretty much invented.

yeah they looked really unimpressed. but i dont blame them because i was disappointed too. i mean, where was the creativity? we've all seen most of those dunks before. they were complaining about MJ being a little harsh on his scoring. i say he was being fair because like me, he was looking for something new from those guys. eh... i guess the dunk competitors were trying too hard to impress the former dunk champs but obviously that didnt work out too well for them. gerald green's first dunk was pretty awesome, as was dwight howard's funny a** sticker thing. (which i think he was robbed off points from because there was a reason behind the whole thing) next year they better get more creative people out there who are going to try to take the next generation of dunking to a whole new level instead of trying to copy the greats.

The dunks weren't that great, plus everyone judging wanted to be out on the floor.

i assumed the actuality that it took 14 cases for Robinson to make his dunk might desire to have decreased his scores. Plus specific, if a decide published a score and then replaced it, it relatively is unquestionably cheating Iguodala.

I think it has been a long week in Vegas for them, and they were probably just tired from all the long hours at the poker tables.
