For a re-manufactured motor, if you could even get one, would cost you several thousand dollars. A new one might cost you around $4000-$5000. Secondly, you would also have to have a new transmission to go with that, because I seriously doubt you could mate the transmission from a 4cyl to a 6cyl motor. Not to mention a new exhaust system, wiring harness, etc.

Also, I am doubtful that the motor mounts would be the same for a 6cyl motor if your vehicle originally came with a 4cyl.

I think the work and expense would not be worth it, just gaining two extra cylinders. There are many ways to modify a 4 cyl motor and get some more hp and torque out of it, and it can give you close to stock 6cyl specs and performance.

Anything is possible with time and money. I would suggest against this this as you have many issues including the computer, wiring, cooling system, etc, etc.......

You could sell it and get a used RX for a lot less hassel. Toyota and lexus share the same chasis, componets, and engine between many models....

yes you might have to change the motor mounts and modify your fire wall but if you want to put the time in you can put a small block v-8 if you have the tools to do it and the time and know how the cost i cant tell you it all depends on how things go and how much you can do your elf.i know of people who had 350 in a s-10 chev
