Well i think its naruto although naruto thinks its sasuke. Kakashi likes training sasuke because their the same types (lightning sharingan) naruto in the other hand needs more elite training like from jiraiya because of kyuubi. although kakashi starts training him later on in part 2. Also like kakashi said naruto never seems to stop impressing him, you dont realy here him saying anything about sasuke. Kakashi is just stricter with naruto because he wants him to be the best and knows he needs that extra push due to his well goofing off all the time. And in the chunin we see it getting paid off when all the other teachers get surprised with narutos fight asuma even said "i dont know what kakashi did to that kid but what ever he did he did it darn good". And sakura we know she is no were near to be kakashis fav.

i think it's Naruto... at first i thought it was Sasuke..cuz he's too much like him... sakura...well, he does hold an affection for her in maybe a father does to his daughter... although he doesn't show it. ^^ Sasuke proved to be a disappointment to Kakashi... that bastard turned evil even if he taught him his techniques... and the nerve of that uchiha... YAY! Naruto Shippuden!!! ^^

I don't think Kakashi has a favorite. He loves his students all the same. He teaches whichever student he thinks needs him the most.
When Kakashi taught Sasuke before the Chuunin Exams, he chose Sasuke not because he liked Sasuke better, but because he felt that he has more to teach Sasuke. They both have the Sharingan. On the other hand, Naruto needed to train his basics, before anything else. Any teacher can teach him the basics.
In Sakura's case however, i think the opportunity or necessity to teach Sakura just hasn't presented itself yet. Sakura didn't get into the final stage of the Chuunin Exams, and after that, she asked to be Tsunade's apprentice.
Kakashi likes his 3 students in different aspects and love them all equally.

I think it's Sasuke, but yes, they're the same types, and Naruto does need more elite training, but Sasuke and Kakashi are alike in other ways, although I think it's probably close between Naruto and Sasuke.

I agree it's off course couldn't be sakura, because I think Kakashi's some
kind like a father in the team and Sakura is just like her daughter. I think it's Naruto, since Sasuke's far away now.

i also think its naruto, but sasuke comes in at a close second. why i think naruto is kakashis fav student is because of has to push naruto to do his best even though naruto likes to goof around a lot naruto can be the best student when is friends are in trouble and he has to protect the presous to him.

Kakashi is a very laxed and calm person. but if any one of his students are in danger he'll go bizerk! but I know, its sasuke cuz he gives him special training, and later in the show he is leaves the village and after than Sakra is being taken as an apprentace of the 5th hokage (Tsunade) so Naruto is all thats left but is always inpressing and making him happy and a proud teacher of an awsome student. also in the mangas Naruto and Sakra (after Sasuke leaves) fight him and he uses the Sharingan and alot of powerful moves and Naruto is able to defeat him even thou Sakra and the rest of the leaf genin are now Chuunin, Kakuro and temari and Joinin and Gaara is the Kazekage, and he is just a genin. he gets so proud.

Its Sasuke.Kakasi even says so himself.
Plus Kakashi tells Sasuke that they are a lot alike and Kakashi even tells Sasuke that everyone he onces cared for is dead.

Sasuke probably, he wants to train to improve and kakashi and sasuke are very much alike, sharingan!
Team 7 is made to look like kakashi's team(when he was smaller)
hakate kakashi=uchiha sasuke(both are cool ninjas, doin cool stuff)
uzumaki naruto= uchiha obito(both act like idiots and goof around a lot)
haruno sakua=the girl in kakshi'team can't remember her name(both medical ninjas)

i dont think he had a favorite student, but the student that impresses him is naruto. sakura was his best student though when it came to knowing techniques and chi. i think kakashi feels some guilt towards sasuke and his betrayal.
