Well in the absolute, this should be stopped. However you cannot pick one aspect of the law and apply it.

If within a good plan, I'm with stopping it. You can't expect people to be creative without ensuring their copyrights.

The government should however offer special prices for special software for students for example. But again, this is not likely to happen since the government has failed to provide a decent reliable Internet connection to begin with. My shitty dial-up connection costs me a fortune at home.

I should also mention that this is a very controversial subject since files are also being shared illegally on the Internet via sharing programs such as kazaa, emule & torrent programs.

Thank You.

yes you should stop buying fake CD'S even though it is cheap and u feel u happy with the savings u had comparing to the genuine CD's but if u look at the damages to CD drivers and the low quality of the display u found it doesnt worth to buy it at all ( the fake CD's) , more over that way you are couraging the organised crime gangs or mafia's where ever it is in the world indirectly of course by buying their products. legal purchase for legal product even if it expensive but it is always better , this what i believe.

Yes.
That's half the reason the rest of us pay so much for legit CD's and DVD's.
You're thieving from all of us when you buy pirate copies.

Yes I think we should. But after having our economy deeply improved, that's when we actually get to have a "state" and a "government". Long way to go ...
