The only reason I wasn't going for a first name is because it is a namesake for my cousin who was killed. I would go with his middle name luke but its not my favorite.

Why not? Any name can be a middle name. Just make sure it flows well with the first and last names (and any second middle name if applicable). A 2-3 (syllables) will work as long as the first name doesn't end with the same sound. So not like a Brian Jonathan, but an Andrew Jonathan:) And skip the alliteration, although your Jett (Jett Jonathan) sounds good, but that's 1-3. All depends on the surrounding names.

Regardless, if you're set on Jonathan, you just have to find a first name that works with it as a middle name to go with your last name. It's a package that you CAN make work.

I don't think there is any name that can't be used as a middle name. It all depends on what the first name is and if it goes with the middle name.
Austin Jonathan
Riley Jonathan
Corbin Jonathan
Andrew Jonathan
Saber Jonathan
Travis Jonathan

Paired with the right first name, Jonathan is fine. I don't really like it with any of the names you hve listed. How about shortening it to Jon? Like Travis Jon ---- or Andrew Jon -----. or since you are honoring a friend, maybe you can come up with another name that starts with the same letter as Jonathan like Jared, Jordan, Joshua, etc.
Good Luck!

Zachary Jonathan sounds really good, the other names are also good, but don't have as good of a flow sound as Zachary does with Jonathan. I like your other 3 boys' names, very very cute!!!

i admire the call Jonathan! If I had a boy, i'd decide to call him that. i'm not sure approximately center names, i've got not relatively concept approximately that. that's extremely an prolonged call, so how approximately some thing shorter to stability it out? issues like Craig or Lee or Sam would artwork.

sorry, it's not working for me. Names such as Jonathan are intended to be first names and they create a stronger impression being that way. But then again, it is your choice, it is one of the priveldges of being a parent, we get full naming rights of our child. Good luck and i hope you get your answer.
