I was just on the net reading the news today then I miminized it then I saw that I didn't have my picture as my background anymore! All I can do now is pick colors as a background, the pictures are all "blanked out" (you know how it's faded so when you click it's useless) and so is the browse button. If it helps I'm on windows xp.

Sounds like you may have piked up a virus or something. Try updating your virus scan software and then running a virus scan on your entire harddrive.

Hi,
You can bring your picture back by following these steps...
On desktop right click and go in properties
Now in properties click on desktop Tab
In desktop Tab click browse
then open your picture file in that browse window
Click apply and then OK
You should have your picture there.

try restarting and see if that helps. go on the internet find a picture right click it and hit save as desktop and see if it works.

just go into control panel, and click on display, and then go to desk top, and click on the picture you want or add a picture of your own, then hit apply, and that should take care of it.

your desktop are refreshed than you can brows your for your pictur and with right click mouse on it you can make it as backround :)
