What do you think the odds are that the raiders will have the worst record and season for the upcoming season 2007?

It all starts with leadership and let's face it, the Raiders haven't had any in the recent past. Until Al Davis stops living in the past and turns the team over to an experienced front office and coaching staff, the Raiders will continue to languish at the bottom of the NFL. His system and football knowledge are so outdated and he refuses to listen to anyone. By naming a very inexperienced coach, he is still clinging to the thought that he can run the team through the coach. Please Al, move on with your life and give the Raider fans what they deserve, an educated team of experts that can put a decent team on the field. I hate to say it again but the worst record in NFL for 2007 is pretty much a lock for this team.

they should do alot better seen as there problem on the o line of Robert gallery is getting moved back to RT and a veteran LT is getting brought in, with a new QB from the draft then there bound to be better than Aaron brooks a fourth round pick or Andrew Walter a 3rd round pick, with Lamont Jordan back and healthy and an experienced backup who averaged 4.5+yards towards the end of the season they cant go wrong, then there is Jerry porter back and all the cancers gone or going (coaching staff and randy moss) it kinda looks better than most offenses out there now. Then to finish it off they have the third ranks D which could of ranked 1st if the offense werent 3 nd out leaving the D on the field 90% of the time.

I think the Raiders may improve next season if they can get rid of some of the players who harm the team like Moss and Porter. I'm not expecting a tremendous improvement, but I think they will win more than 2 games next year. My money is on Detroit to be the worst NFL team next year.

I think that it is very unlikely. Their defense is very young, and they performed very well last year. I expect them to keep on improving.

The offense can't get anymore stagnant than last year. If Lamont Jordan can stay healthy and get a steady ground game going, it will open the doors for the Raider's wideouts. Speculating that Porter returns to action, and Brooks throwing the ball the right direction, I see this team improving.

Their first day picks should include a QB, OL, and RB/TE/DT, in so specific order. They need to sign a veteran to hold down the line.

they should have 4 or 5 wins this season due to scheduling more than improvement...the last time Al went to a young coach it improved the team because he worked feverishly day and night to put an offense together (Gruden) and they got the perfect compliments in Rice , and Garner for Gannon to check off to when in trouble...up to that point in his career Gannon never had someone so dependable (good receiving hands) out of the backfield that he could get first downs on check offs, forcing opposing defenses to 'spy' on the running back leaving wide receivers in 'man' coverage both on the slant and outside or in open spots in zone coverage...this is why Gannon threw for so many yards that super bowl season, that they lost was a given esp. since Callahan hadn't inserted any or many different offensive sets and the TB players knew what was going to be run by the formations...sorry, got off subject...anyway...wish list is big for team, they need a quarterback which they will get an opportunity to choose...and a couple of offensive linemen, then will need the existing receivers to get on board and play with enthusiasm or make way for others via. trade...they shouldn't be the worst but will improve only marginally in the coming season

They can't possibly be as bad as they were last season. Their schedule is easier. The still have all their defenders from the 3rd ranked D in the league. They should pick up Jamarcus Russell a 6'6" 260 lb badass Qb which fast feet and a rocket arm. There O-line and Lamont Jordan should be healthy. I say there ready to go 8-8

They wont have the worst and they will b way improved. They can get JaMarcus Russell and in the second round they could pick up a guy like Kenny Irons out of Auburn and could be like Ronnie Brown who also came out of Auburn. Defense really doesn't need to be tweaked but they still have a tough division.

Big Raiders fan. They need to get a Qb in the draft and then build in the line and they should be better. They did beat the Steelers!
