The mouse does not make any sounds from the computer speakers. What you are hearing is the physical switch in the mouse.

The only way would be to try a different mouse.

Hm, interesting question. I don't think there is really much to do about that clicking noise. If it is an inexpensive mouse, you may want to give it a try and pop it open to see if you can remove anything that makes that noise.....however i wouldn't recommend it. You may want to look into a new mouse, but give it a try before you buy to see if it's noise, or lack thereof, is to your liking.

You can un plug the mouse and use the keyboard to navigate the screen
