I know there was a scene where he said he was the angel of death, but I think he was being nice and good to Adam Sandler, Would the angel of death improve somebody's life?

Christopher Walken did play the Angel of Death in 'Click'. But you are missing the point, he is not there to take lives, he is there to make sure we appriciate them while we can. And when our lives are over, he escorts us to the other side.
The Angel of Death and the Grim Reaper are not the same thing. Remember his title alone says it... "ANGEL", he is there to help us and guide us.

Basically he is the angel of death in this, a nod to his role as Gabriel in the Prophecy trilogy - Walken himself even sort of admits the two characters are very similar. If you watch The Prophecy and Click back to back it does kind of make sense.

Christopher Walken, like in ALL his movies, played Christopher Walken. Haven't you noticed how similar all his roles are.

All the remote does is speed you on to your death. It learns the things you like to avoid and it automatically skips over them. before you know it you are dead.
