I haven't been ripped off by them but I've seen people ripped off. They are sometimes dishonest and out to take the rubes, the 'customers'. Don't trust them, it's you against them and it's their game!
I also saw a greedy customer loose hundreds of dollars in a semi-rigged game rush off to the bank to get more money to give the Carny.
