He is so whipped by his nutty wife! And he just sits there like a little puppy dog while she talks. and he has to keep his head down when the cheerleaders come on the floor, and he can't give interviews to female reporters, say what? This guy needs a set of balls, do you agree fellas?

Hey Candace, i wouldn't expect a woman to say he is whipped, but you have to admit that the stuff he does isn't the stuff of a normal, sane marriage. I love my girl dearly, bu i don't allow her to control my every move. When you allow someone to dominate you like that, you don't even know who you are as a person. I really can't respect a man like that. And by the look on his face in some of the interviews i've seen, he doesn't look all that happy to me. Maybe he's just to afraid to divorce her.

A personally don't think he is whipped because you can't make another person do something they don't want to do without threatening their lives. I also hate when people say that the reason he doesn't cheat is because of what she does. A person, especially a man is going to cheat no matter what, if that's what he wants to do then that's what he will do. She can do all the things she does and he still will cheat if that's what he wants to do. What a lot of people don't realize is that he has been a hoe and has lived the player lifestyle. He said that he has done that and now is over it. He said when he met her this is who he wanted spend rest of his life with. I feel he has grown up. Also he said he was flattered by all the attention he wife gives him.

Doug Christie is, from all accounts, quite happy in his situation, and while a lot of people don't agree with it, it works for them. I certainly wouldn't want a marraige like that, busting my butt to keep my eye of a man, but some people will do anything for love. People may think they're nuts, but the're happy nuts, and they're still married after 12 years, which is a lifetime compared to a lot of NBA marriages.
He does these things because he wants to. Other people may think he's whipped, but most men do things just to make their wives or girlfriends happy that other people wouldn't do. Doug Christie just happens to get national attention for it.
I don't think he's whipped. Heck, he got a TV show out of it, so it's making him money and keeping his name in the media.
Cool Breeze: I used to think he was whipped when I first found out about the things they did, but I've changed my mind. When I see them, they looked pretty pleased with themselves. Yeah, I think their relationship is extreme and very weird and they're much to involved with each other, even for a married couple, but they really seem happy with it and each other, so I wouldn't call him whipped. Guys who are whipped look like it, Doug doesn't look whipped to me.

99.9% of those guys in the Nba mess around on the side and his wife knows that. She is working hard to keep that from happening in her marriage. If he goes along with it then so be it. I am willing to bet she laid these rules to him and let it be known if you really want to marry me this is how it is going to be done. She knows if he balked at that then he still wanted to do his thing.
would I go along with that? No, but Doug must truly love his wife and values his marriage. Don't fault th brother for that, but can you say henpecked..lol...
