I'm assuming you're interested in men because of the section this was posted in and that you're talking about websites, since you mentioned you were looking for free ones.
"Free" pretty much narrows it down, since many of them charge to send messages to other users.
I've used gayromeo.com before, but I think it's much more popular in European countries than in the States. Still, there are quite a lot of U.S. users on there, though, and the site is free.
