I have an almost 5 month old little girl, she pulls her shoulders up and has worked that stomach of hers on doing so since 7 weeks, she can roll to her stomach and back and rests on her elbows.
At what age did your baby actually start sitting and crawling and what did you do to help them achieve this, also just before their teeth pop up what am I to expect - crying through the night or what? lots of answers would be appreciated, thankyou.

My son started crawling at 7 months..........Sitting at 5 months.........Put her on her tushy and put her hands out in front of her like you are proping her up.
Thats how they learn thier balance. Do it several times a day and she will work her side muscles out and learn to catch herself if she begins to tip. Pretty soon she wll pick up one arm and be able to stay sitting........Then pretty soon both arms.
Be in arms length of her the ENTIRE time!!!

Also proping her to sit in "The Boppy" pillow will help
They need to work out those side mucles!

Teething is a tuff one............My son was just cranky. No fever and not a lot of excess drool..... If you suspect teeth feel around in there. If they start chewing on your fingure or you feel swollen gums then teeth are on thier way!
I didnt use anything expept Tylenol for teeth.........I heard alot of that teething medicine doesn't work anyway

A nice frozen waffle or cold wash cloth to chew on is better then any drug

Also dont try to do anything new like.....Making her sleep alone and all through the night or letting her "cry it out" while she is teething.
.
She is going through a change right now and dont expect her to be on schedule...... Teething really messes up thier little world!
Lots of comfort and understanding will make it easier on both of you.

Drool comes with teeth. There is no escaping that. Crawling comes with 7 to 8 months. Sometimes later. My daughter is 9 months, and cant sit up from a laying position. She wont crawl, but she can pull up to a stand from a sitting position. It depends on the child. Let them set the pace, and don't compare them to other children. Some talk early, and others crawl early. Physical or verbal, one is before the other. PS Benadryl or other allergy medicines make them sleepy, and work wonders at two in the morning. Teeth alway seem to come in at night.

teething-every baby is different, my first I didn't know she was she was teething untill I seen her first 2 teeth, my second was a little cranky but not bad, but a friend of mines little boy, he had every symptom in the book...they poops, drooling, runny nose, fever, unbelievably cranky, wouldn't sleep wouldn't eat. So babies have a wide variety of how they may be while teething. Both my daughters were sitting up around 6 or 7 months, if I sat them up. they started sitting up on there own around 8 months. I didn't start helping out until they looked like they wanted it, like if she was trying her hardest to sit up and would start getting frustrated they I would help out, but for the most part I tryed to let them figure things out on there own. my first was 10 months when she started crawling and my second was 9 months.

my daughter was an only child as a baby and so she developed at her own little merry pace. She sat aroudn seven months but didn't actually keep her balance while sitting until she was ten months. She crawled at ten months as well. She slep throught the night at four months old.. there is a god.. lol

My daughter's call is Peyton so i'd advise Peyton for a lady. i do not fairly like the spelling Payton yet I do imagine it is more beneficial advantageous for a boy. I do basically like the call Shelby and Shelby Rose is amazingly gorgeous. Love Taylor James yet i'm no longer keen on Trevor or Jonah Love all of them! the in trouble-free terms imagine i'd substitute will be Kiana to Kiara or Keira. solid success including your infant! God bless!

give the baby lots of tummy time, with space to move around. crying, crankyness and sometimes fever can be signs of teething.
