whether the tisco will go up or down for short & medium term

I am a big holder of Tata Steel for the last 20 years. I feel that this is a great opportunity to buy if you do not have a position.
If you do, and have the patience of waiting through Dec'2008, then put away the stock, get your fingers turned off to sell Tata Steel and have faith.
I am going to hold it no matter what. Gaining market share through acquisition is always costly no matter what. If I have to sit through the sidelines on TISCO for a while, I am willing.

Short term is bleak as profit margin is bound to go down on acccount of aquisition of corus.
Mid term may not offer great returns.
