Christian missionaries tried to engage me a handful of times in the train station. Anyways I decided once to not ignore them and talk to them, but they were very rude and yapped and yapped without letting me get a word in edgewise. Even when I made a good point against what they were saying, they just ignored it and quickly jumped to something else. I found it to be a frustratingly unintelligent experience. Even Yahoo Answers is a more mature and intelligent place to discuss religion than with missionaries.

It seems after getting lots of feedback from many of my friends that also tried to talk with missionaries that they felt the same as I did.

yep. Gotta love how someone with no greater knowledge of ultimate truth as you or anyone else can presume to tell you they're right and you're going to hell unless you abandon your beliefs and switch to theirs.

And then not understand why you're looking at them funny...

Yes! When I decided to baptize my daughter Catholic. Her dad is Christian. He wants us to be Christian so after saying no to him for the longest time we went to get a letter notarized saying he gives permission for a Catholic baptism. Then, the notary started bashing on the Vatican... blah, blah, blah... even saying my baby's dad shouldn't even give permission for the baptism. We didn't even know him and no one asked for his opinion, just rude!

Yep, Couple of Mormons at college cornered me. I listened to them, I accepted their book of Mormon, which I still never read, and I bid them good day.

The odd Jehovah's witness every now and again! I just answer them by saying " so..... you want me to join a cult?" They don't like it very much!
