I don't know if it would be considered a mass grave, but there are the trench graves at the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. They contain the remains of what are believed to be about 11,700 unknown Union POWs (though that number has been disputed). There are 18 trenches, about 240 feet long.
