When I was 9 or 10 years old, my Dad took me and my brother and sister, and my cousin bill, for a bike ride from our house to bill's house. It was a really, really long way, 4-5 miles.
There was this really, really, really, big hill. All the other kids, except me, got off of our bikes to walk up the hill. I creeped up that hill, soooo slowly. But I was determined to not have to get off that bike.
As I reached the top of that hill, I looked at my Dad, and I could see from the look on his face that he was proud of who I was.
I will cherish that memory for the rest of my life, and I know that my sister and brother sufferred from not having a memory like it in their lives. My Dad died two years later, when I was 11. I know that he was proud of them too, they just didn't get the chance to get old enough to keep the memory.

Travelling across Australia with my parents and six brothers and sisters to visit my cousins in another state. We pulled off the highway each night and camped in the bush. Took us just over a week to get there. It was a fantastic time

pushing my older brother down a hill while was in skates and not getting in trouble.
that and when my dad gave me my first switch blade i was 5 when i got it.

going to my grammy mimis for x-mas,she was the best cook,and always gave the best gifts of eny one in the family.she died last year and i really miss her.
