If this is for a school assignment, you should use academic sources. Go to the library and use reference books that have literary analysis and review. Read a short biography of the author, even an encyclopedia entry will help. What authors write relates to their life in some way, usually.

Many public and academic libraries have literary criticism and literary biography reference works available online to their patrons/students.

Online research is okay to start with, but it is a mile wide and an inch deep. Impress your teacher and do it propery, with scholarly sources.
