Step 1: Get some wet wipes and run over the keyboard.
Step 2: Once you've done that get a fresh wet wipe and wrap it around a Q-Tip and that along the ridges inbetween the keys.
It could take forever or it could take a while...all depends on how clean you are!

By preventing it from becoming dirty. This is not a joke. Do clean your hands before using the keyboard. Try to keep the keyboard covered when not in use. And keep the PC in a dust free environment. Do not let food stuff anywhere near the pC

When I clean my keyboard there are some important steps to follow and number one is do not get it wet. 1st us a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the keys and in between them. Then take a very slightly damp paper towel and wipe the keys and insert just a fold into the keys where possible. Never remove the space bar if for some reason you decide to remove keys to completely clean the board. Hope this helps.

Aside from actual cleanliness... why does anybody worry about how clean their keyboard is? I've cleaned mine twice in four years. There's crumbs, dust, cat hair... I even found a pubic hair in one keyboard... [sorry, I have no reasonable story for that one]. And every single one of them worked fine. Why?
Has anybody in here ever taken apart a keyboard? They are extremely simple and are very well designed. They are typically waterproof (except under operation) and have no mechanical parts. Nothing to rust, nothing to corrode.
I clean mine with an air nozzle set at 120 psi. If I spilled something in it, I clean under the tap and air dry. While it dries, I get a spare.

I'll vacuum mine and also use a tissue with rubbing alcohol. Seems to work OK. I have seen rumors on the net about placing it in an automatic dishwasher. I'll try this out an an old beat keyboard one day to see if its true. Rather suspicious of that idea.

Do not eat, drink or SMOKE anywhere near the keyboard. Use a dust cover when not in use, a lint free hand towel works well.
Clean it often with forced air.

Whenever it's dirty ,wash it with your wash machine,......
apart from joking,it will get dirty willy-nilly,but by washing your hands before using the keyboard,or having a cover for it you can avoid it's being dirty...
