It really depends on what you want from MAC and how your skin is. I am a MAC professional makeup artist. I would suggest that you come into one of our shops and make an appointment for a makeover. The makeover is free with a $40 purchase. Which is great because you will be able to figure out what foundations and things work on your skin and you can try as many things out as your heart desires. We are also glad to help you with makeup tips and other things. So, call your local MAC store and make that appointment. We have so many GREAT products. I hope this helps!

Their eyeshadows are great. They have tons of colors and they're fun to mix and match.
I agree with the post to be careful of the foundation. Though lots of people don't have any problems with it, I've found that I sometimes do. I tried the Studio Fix liquid and it seemed to cause me to break out a bit. Another problem I have is that I can't find a foundation that matches me. They seem to be too light or too orange. I've purchased 3 bottles, all at $24 or so per bottle, and none have been right - that's too much money for me to just throw away. I have had the artists match me up, but it still isn't right, and they don't always seem to care or want to take the time to make sure it's right.
Bottom line, eyeshadows are where they are best, IMO. They have a prep & prime eye that's fun too, and I love the Viva Glam VI lip. Have fun!

I've used their eyeliner, concealer, and foundation. Their eyeliner isn't bad. Their concealer is okay but their foundation SUCKS. I've used way better products than MAC.
