Having grown up in San Francisco in the 50s/60s, I remember that era well! I was a teenager during that time period and thought of myself as a hippie (guess you could say hippie "wannabe!").
Besides jeans, I wore: a lot of brightly-colored things (tops and mini-dresses/skirts); shirts with beads, sequins, and other decorations; sandals; boots; elaborate earrings, or silver ones w/turquoise beading; tie-dye of course; a pea-coat; suede jacket; velvet; lace.

if i was a hippi i would fo for earth coloured clothes like greens, browns, reds and of course white....or just run around naked lol

been there, done that, blue jeans (bell bottoms of course), brown suede sleeveless vest, tee shirt, brown leather sandals, love beads baby
