I have a large storage area, approx. 500 square feet. My wife wants it all cedar. How much cedar do I need to make it a actual cedar closet/storage that works? Do I need to do all the walls and ceiling or just a sheet here and there?

Aprox. 1220 sq. feet of cedar would do the walls and ceiling. I did not subtract for a doorway. Just measure your walls and ceiling length x width for sq. ft. If your going to do it, I'd do it all. the ceiling can be anything you want however. They have cedar sheets and also cedar
1/4" x 4" planks.

The cedar may smell up adjacent areas. This is covered in the link below. I have also read elsewhere that cedar doesn't do a good job of repelling all insects. The link has other planning ideas to take into consideration for closets.
