How to HTML Bold type?

I know when you want to space you have to put "br" in the (<>) but how do you make it bold type?

You have to put a b in like this
and then a at the end of the text you want to be bold

this tag is used to make ur text bold. also it should be ancompanied by a closing tag ie.
eg: mumbai is a metro
