Well, today is Saturday and it's the last day of my pack of birth control pills. Tomorrow (sunday) is going to be a start of my new pack. However, the pharamacy that I always go to is closed tomorrow and Monday. Meaning, I will have to skip "sunday and monday" pills. I won't get my new pack until Tuesday morning. What do I do since I missed two days of the pack? Do I take all three pills on Tuesday. or just start on Tuesday and forget Sunday and Monday pills? Please help. Really confused!

If you forget (or don't have) your pills for a day or two, follow the instructions below:
If you miss one pill, take the forgotten one (yesterday's pill) as soon as you remember it, and take today's pill at the regular time. Although you probably will not become pregnant, use your backup method until your next period to be safe. (condoms, diaphragm, or foam)
If you miss two pills in a row, take two pills as soon as you remember and two pills the next day. You may have some spotting. Use your backup method of birth control until your next period.
Good luck and don't worry. If you are near another pharmacy affiliated with your usual one, call them and explain-they may be able to fill your presciption....................

Mi'ja... go see or call your doctor! You might need the dose adjusted. Or, yes, you could've taken the medication too close to each other and caused a small hormonal over-drive. Also, if you just started on the medication, your body may be adjusting and causing you to feel like such. I extracted the following from the link below: If you miss 1 pill, take it as soon as you remember. Take your next pill at the regular time. If you miss 2 pills, take 1 of the forgotten pills every 12 hours until you have caught up, then continue taking the rest of the pill pack. Backup contraception is recommended for 7 days. If missed pills are at the beginning of the pill pack, discuss emergency contraception with your health professional. If you miss more than 2 pills, skip the missed pills and complete the rest of the pill pack. Backup contraception is recommended until your next menstrual cycle. Am I to understand that you need to pick up a new package of pills from the pharmacy b/c you are now finished with the other pack? The reason I ask is b/c of the fact that you said that your pharmacy will be closed today and also on Mon.
Can you call your dr's office to see if your dr is covering this weekend to see if they can call in another pack to a pharmacy that is open 24/7 like some Wal-greens and CVS?

Is there any way that you could go a little further to another pharmacy? I accidentally skipped one pill once and I rang the doctor. She told me to just start taking from the right day on the new pack and to take other precautions or not have sex for 2 weeks just to be sure. I'd rather be super safe than super pregnant.

Make sure that in those 2 or 3 days don't have sex. I'm serious My sister in law skipped one day and got pregnant. When you get your pills make sure you ask the pharmasist. and next time get your new pack a month before. Trust me it's like hell when your worried if your pregnant or not when you really don't want to get pregnant. If by any chance you want to have sex make sure your partner is using a condom

NEVER, NEVER do that. If you miss taking you birth control pills, then you start taking them when you get them. There is serious consequences if you try and take your missed pills. So start taking them on Tuesday like you normally would.

Also, you should really get your prescription refilled sooner.
What I do is on my three week of pills is order a refill. that way I have them when my last pill of the pack is taken so I don't have to worry about the pharmacy being open or not.
You could also try going to another pharmacy with your prescription.

Best bet is ask the pharmacist to be sure. But i'd say just start from Tuesday. Be sure to ask the pharmacist though, They will know.

you can take all three on Tuesday, but use a back-up protection method if you are having sex!
