I always say goodbye. I have never left anyone without a word. Some people misinterpret my absence as my permanent leaving, when it really isn't. I could never just up and leave someone. I don't have the heart.

Yeah i do that sometimes,i think when i am doing that.I am saying good bye through my body expressions,or where the conversation is leading you kind of get the picture,or if i know that i am going to see you some other time,it seems like no problem.

i think people say goodbye without saying a word because they don't wanna hurt the other person. or maybe they just didn't want anybody to know where they go, mysterious goodbye thing. or maybe they just want to attract some attention

Most people don't like saying Good Bye....

Many reasons...some.. maybe they tried and the other person didn't listen or maybe they got frustrated enough to let it go without saying anything.

its easier ro deal with it and they probably wanna leave it at a happy place than a sad place where their last memory is you all missing them...
