Your biggest mistake is giving a damn what other people think. All that matters is that you like you and God likes you.
Just do what it takes for you to be happy with you. If you try to please the crowd, you'll kick yourself for doing it when you get older and realize how stupid it was. I'm 51 - been there, done that. Trust me! Just be you - cuz you're the only one who can!
What's wrong with wanting to be a black person anyway? A black person is just a person like anyone else!
You need to forget about what "people say". People say so many things it would be a waste of your life to try to please them. In the immortal words of Ricky Nelson: "Well it's alright now. I've learned my lesson well. Ya see, ya can't please everyone, so ya gotta please yourself."
Really, dude. Trust me on this. They're not worth it. You owe it to yourself just to be yourself. You're okay.
Hope this helps! Good luck.

No, that is not dressing black that is dressing urban. I see non black people dress like that all of the time. And there are black people that don't dress like that. I wouldn't consider you a wanna be. If you dressed in Hollister just to fit in then that would make you a wanna be. Just be yourself.

Nope. Don't listen to them. It is a sty you chosen which is a hip hop way of wearing your attire. If you your friends believe you want to be black, and you continue to say no and you are proud to be Filipino (I'm African-American and I love Filipino people) then the question is are they real friends?
God Bless...

The "Hip-hop" look went out in 1994
Baggy tripple X shirts and pants around your ankles do not look good regardless of your race. At least the clothes at Hollister fit.

Maybe maybe not. I like some FUBU stuff but FUBU means For Us By Us which is exclusionary and racist to me so I won't buy their stuff. There are some of their items I really like but I won't buy them because I feel the people are racist that produce them. Wear what you want is my feeling. If you can't be original then feel free to copy. What clothes express your race? Is that the reason to wear any clothing? Clothing was designed for many reasons so why not to reflect the culture you like or emulate? I won't wear anything that excludes people like the FUBU mentality. If it means For US By Us it don't mean anyone else in my belief so let them wear their tacky racist clown clothes.

Some blacks are sensitive when it comes to their cultural things. Many are trying to forge an identity and don't like others copying them. Silly to me. I use lots of black hair products because they work on my hair but I sometimes get odd looks when I purchase them.

Wow. it is genuinely severe. people in simple terms presume that your profile photograph is meant to to look resembling you. i understand precisely the way you sense. My issue is vice versa, i take advantage of white profile photos frequently yet i'm actual black. they are the two making use of straightforward sense and are not pondering this decision or are randomly guessing.

Wear what you want to wear because you like it, and don't worry about what other people say.
