Almost everyone does, I would think. Mostly the flossing part.
I lie about not smoking, not flossing daily, and how many time I really do brush in a day....it's not like the dentist actually believes me. he sees it all thru the x rays anyway....so why ask??

It's not the dentist doing the asking, it's his nosy hygienist. She always has a scolding tone of voice too. I never lie about brushing though, I do however exaggerate my flossing activity.

I used to... but I knew my dentist could tell from my teeth.
I ALWAYS brush right before my appointment though!
