is an authentic man (Heindeggar's example) and an autonomous man the same thing?

You must mean Martin Heidegger; he says, "Man is not the lord of beings. Man is the shepherd of Being" They can be the same, but not necessarily always. You can be authentic (genuine) and may be autonomous ( independent or controlled by outside forces) too, or you may not be both , but up to a certain extent only. Man will always be affected by forces around him , in one way or another.
