Do horoscopes tell you what will happen or what you should do for the best possible change?

You see I've looked at them before and thought sounds right to me and if it happens GREAT but when it comes to that time nothing happens, no special person does anything, I don't get anything etc.

Listen to me carefully only you can make choices. Horoscopes don't tell you the future there only a flashlight to guide your way down a dark corridor. They just tell you how you will be feeling mind, body, and spirit on that certain day. They do not in any way tell you what to do unless its a fake horoscope. I've tested this over and over and all i get is truth.

If you're reading a horoscope in a newspaper or magazine, don't pay attention to it. "For Entertainment Only" usually translates to "we made this up completely, don't blame us if it's not even close to true".

However, real astrology can be useful-- not in telling the future, because nothing can do that-- but as a mirror for you and your natural tendencies. Try finding yourself a reading based on your birth date, place and time, and you will get much more accurate results. Similarly, where the stars are now compared to where they were when you were born can tell you about your mood and interactions with others for any given day, and that will probably hold some truth as well. That's the closest thing you'll get with being able to predict the future, though.

I must agree with Dream On

and remember, 1/12 of the world's population shares your sun-sign; nothing in the world can be particular enough to accurately guide that many people down their destined paths at the same time. Even with the added bonus of knowing your moon-sign, that only narrows that percentage down so much and you're left with a whole heck of a lot of people.

Personally, I'm getting into numerology,

but then again, I am a math geek.

P.S. You do have to be a bit more careful about getting a numerology report done... there are only so many numbers that they should have to ask for and you shouldn't give away anything that could be potentially dangerous.

A better question is what is the evidence to support astrology (or numerology). Note adding -olgy does not make it any kind of science. Since we all have the same Internet; we have access to sites that have independently tested these claims. Try some searches for some unbiased testing. If your going to put time into it, don't ignore the downside. Question everything.

P.S. remember if the site is a .com they are really in it for money. They will give free samples but want you to buy their products.

It tells you what should happen. Entertainment for most people so don't bet any money on it.
