Look I know a bunch of people already posted stuff like this but there are a few parameters I have. I am a teenager who is a fan of the old nintendo days and the n64 along with Link. The big thing I am worried about on the wii will be if it turns into a gamecube with no third-party support. I am also more of a PC game user so my console won't be my main system. I also can not use any M rated games, or play online games, so while I like shooters how many good ones out there are there that are not M. So can anyone tell me what would be better to get a Wii or an Xbox. The PS3 is out of the question, too expensive, and I want a game system not a DVD player or a place to store my music. I want a system based on the games and how fun they are. Also all my friends already have Xbox 360's.

I decided to get a Wii, now all I have to do is wait for a store to finally get one. Plus I get to play the Xbox every weekend at my friends for around three hours so, I get the best of both worlds, and two or three years from now I will be able to get the xbox if there aren't any new systems by then

Well it depends. Wii is many family oreniented games, and the are literally physical. where on the other hand 360 is mainly better for 1st person shooter,(now 3rd with GoW and Lost Planet)
and PS# is mainly for rpg gamig. the 360 is the ultimate lazy gaming console. turn on and off with controller

I would go with the Wii. The Xbox doesnt offer anything groundbreaking in my opinion. The Wii seems like so much more fun rather than the playing the same stuff you've played for the past 5 years with a coat of polish (Xbox360).

Go with the Wii. It's cheap too. Like half the price of the 360.

Short & Simple:

Wii. It gives you a small work out while you get to enjoy playing a game. The graphics for the Link series isn't bad so no worries. Better graphic games will come out for it soon anyway.
