No it isn't. My son and his girlfriend walked out on it because it was so satanist. She was so terrified she had her head covered during the first part of the movie. We need more positive role movies for kids to see.

Ghost Rider is probably too intense and violent for your youngest child at 6. You alone know the maturity level of the 10-year old, but consider the movie rating.

The MPAA Rating is "PG-13", for "horror violence and disturbing images" , so I think I would consider how you think your kids would react to that type of film.

Even though it it cartoon violence (based upon a comic book super hero ) , that can be pretty graphic with special effects today.

It might be too scary for the 6 year old but for the 10 year old i will say yes because it is PG-13 but 3 years do not make that much of a difference in maturity. Besides the things your kids are learning things anyway so basically for the 10 year old I say yes.

I saw it myself over the weekend with my brother and we're both members of a Southern Baptist church. I've got two kids and I'm a lot more lenient with them than he and his wife are with their six kids. However, he'd let his kids go see this movie because of the fact there was little swearing (no "F" word or "G D") and it's only a movie that was based on a comic book. It does NOT encourage people to sell their souls to the devil or devil worshiping or anything to that effect. It simply is a movie for entertainment purposes. Good luck!

No, even though it was rated PG-13, I wouldn't take them, because it is a horror movie with violence and disturbing images. It should be R-rated... Hope you made up your mind

BTW, if you or them have not watched Night at The Museum... Take them, because it is worth watching. I watched it already. It's fun.

Lets just go by the national approved rating that the nationally approved rating system has given it....PG13. Thirteen, not six and ten. With Parental Guidance as well.
So the short answer is no.

I just came from seeing the movie and I think it would be a little scary for them. There were a lot of kids there but I don't think their parents thought it was as scary as it was.

Yeah I don't think so. It was really good, but I don't think it is appropriate for six and ten year old girls, there are a lot of images that might make them scared.

let me tell you its pg 13 no sex scenes but language and flicking off..as of content some characters may seem pretty scary for your step kids..it does have some humor throughout out but "disturbing" images as well
