i need to know if its a bad thing to have a hero complex

Well it depends on whether it's interfering with your day to day life and relationsihps with others. We all have some kind of "complex." I have friends who have a complex about flying on a plane. It's not an issue until they won't take a good job because it requires flying to meetings twice a year. See what I mean? If this hero thing is seriously interfering with your normal functioning, yeah, it's a problem. If it's just a pain in the butt sometimes, then you're just human :-)

No because we help people, we can't find happiness for ourselves most of the time we feel happy because someone else is happy because we made it so. It is something the world needs, because otherwise we will all became dark and angry at each other, and we give people hope and something to follow like a moral code and an example of a way to live.
I have a hero complex so I understand what you feel, my advice to you is to keep fighting for the right cause, don't give up, and don't loose your way.

you think you're a hero? you strive to go out and look for situations to be a hero? hmmm perhaps you're lacking in self esteem. but if you're struggling with a new ability to see the future, or flying , or start fire with your hands then i suggest you watch HEROS on monday nites. you might find comfort with others like you ;)
