Leaha -

I watched that entire video. The problems those guys are talking about exist everywhere, not only in places like Syria and Iran but also in Africa, Indonesia...you name a country and it's there - but not only in the name of Allah. There are a million and one causes for these cultures of hatred.

Here's the point though: When you decide to undertake a course of action, you can't make assumptions that the enemy won't do a certain thing because it's wrong. If you expect the enemy to act ethically all the time, you'll lose. Should Bush have to take responsibility for the enemy's actions and environmental factors? You can argue all day that he doesn't. However, any military leader worth his salt on any echelon will agree that success comes when you go the extra step and take responsibility not only for your own actions but for your subordinates and battlefield contigencies as well. Blaming snafus on Iran, Democrats, the Iraqi people, etc....doesn't help to alleviate problems.

You know, I'm not even inclined to report you - I actually kind of enjoyed reading your off-the-wall diatribe. You might want to chill out, though - you don't want to bust a vessel, do you? It seems like I really got under your skin...could it be that maybe I'm right in saying that slightly better foresight could have avoided quite a few problems? I guess your passionate response is a testament to that...seems like I hit the nail on the head.

These are not the problems of GWB, but the issues the US are now facing.

Everyone has been watching so much 'news' media, they forget there are people out there that really know what's going on. In congressional hearings, they've done nothing for a solution. They only continue to argue about 'how to stop him.'

Do yourself a favor and watch the video from the link below. This was taped at CN8, a morning talk show in which 3 former terrorist speak about how they were brought up and how Muslims are trained from childhood to hate Americans, Israeli's and Christianity.

When I saw this I got one H of an education and I think more people should have a chance to see it. Maybe it will help them understand what is really going on, even currently, in the US. It's important to watch all of it. (About 20 min. or so)

Because some of them may be true. If the evidence they've brought up against Iran, such as unexploded ordinance with Iranian serial codes, among other things, is true, then it may be that the larger thorns in our military's side are caused by an outside force.

Though, I'd suspect if Iran was helping the Shiites, that Saudi Arabia wouldn't be too far behind helping the Sunnis.

Bush doesn't say Iran is the source of his problems. However, he has pointed out the obvious fact that when they are fighting a terrorist organization in Iraq and Iran is funneling fighters, money and weapons to the opposition in Iraq, it makes it more difficult. This is a simple fact that many smart people said loooong before they found actual publically released evidence. The citizens of Iraq know it too - just ask them. This isn't a civil war that we started by overthrowing a despot. It's pretty obvious what's really going on in Iraq. Educate yourself! :-D

Ah, and what country might you be living in? I could have sworn he was still President and there for the leader of the country. You may not have voted for him but he's the man and if he has a problem then you better damn well believe that it's our problem too.

I mean really - what problems does he really have?
There aren't enough Democrats to get their votes thru, so
Bush gets to do exactly whatever he wants to - nothing
different than the past 6 years.
It's the rest of the country that has problems, that have
resulted from his decisions.

Because his big ego is all an act.

He is a psychopath. They don't have the strength to face up to their own shortcomings and always blame others.

He seems to have no sense of personal responsibility! (Check out the drug and alcohol use...)

Whenever he is speaking, I get the feeling that he is JUST reading the teleprompter, and has no idea what he is saying. Then I wonder if he has any real feelings or thoughts of his own.
