It's an interesting concept, but unworkable. At present, the relationship between Taiwan and America is that Taiwan is a fueling station and landing strip for American forces in case anyone in the Asia Pacific region becomes aggressive. It is in no one best interest that Taiwan be taken over by America or China.

this could never happen. China would get quite angry and start a war with the U.S. and woudl Probably involve Japan and Korea and who the hell knows maybe Vietnam would jump in to. Not a good Idea. but otherwise I would have no problem with it except Taiwan is a day ahead of the continental united states, doesn't speak english, and has a completely different culture. The U.S. doesn't have an official language so no one would have to learn english.

People have put forward the proposal of England becoming a new state of the USA. (If it were to happen, England would technically, be the richest state.)

As for Taiwan, its not a good idea. China is firm in its sovereignty claims over Taiwan. Taiwan is probably the only thing they'd go loopy to war over.

That's completely ridiculous.
Get your brained checked.
Plus, the bond between Taiwan and U.S. is not as tight as you would think.
U.S. wouldn't come to Taiwan's rescue if China were to attack it.
China is too important to the U.S. and Taiwan isn't important enough to risk harming that relationship.
