I don't have the new earphones - I use the old ones

I've had my iPod for a year, and my old earphones fell apart, so I bought new ones. But they were identical to the original set.

I traded my ipod for a zune. MUCH better than ipod, even though i am a die hard MAC lover. Zune has AM/FM tuner, bigger screen, speakerphone, and clearity. but... to answer your question i think the old and the new ipod earphones are the same, unless you bust one of them

Neither - I hate those earphones - they hurt. I bought a different kind.

i used to but i blew the right ear thing so i now use the ear phones from my sisters cd player.
