Cheating is worse by far...that person has trust in you and you are involved personally. Shoplifting isn't good either, but at least the people you are stealing from don't take it personally...stores expect a certain amount of it.

Both are awful, but infidelity is a violation of the 7th Commandment.
Of course shoplifting is a violation of the 8th Commandment. But 7 comes before 8.

Cheating on your mate is worse because it hurts someone very badly & it's something that will never be gotten over or forgotten. Shoplifting is bad too, but it doesn't hurt someone emotionaly.

I would say cheating is the worst..becuz..at the beginning u and your mate shared love,feelings,comfort,happiness together.And when u loose these..people tent to reminiscence about it and regret.However both sides have its cause and its effect..
