It doesn't matter if someone gives you the wrong answer without reading the question. The main thing is that he tried to solve your problem. It might be his fault that he didn't read the question but to err is human.

If they are merely adding to the general background babble with random words and phrases which bear little or no relationship to the question posed, it must be asked if they are *really* answering?
