You have EVER SEEN on TELEVISION?
(Mine was ABSOLUTELY 9/11 when I saw "LIVE BROADCASTS" of people jumping to their deaths out of the twin towers! STILL haunts me TO THIS DAY!)

That was it for me too....I will always remember where I was when I watched the second plane go in...when I saw them 2 buildings fall (I just kept thinking Oh my God there are still tons of people in there...they'll never live through that!) and the footage following where you saw the people jumping from the buildings and this one documentary I saw a couple days later showed a guy in one of the building lobbies talking about the loud thuds that we would hear periodically would be the body of someone who just jumped. It was horrifying...The whole thing was just mind-blowingly horrible. I will never forget that.

I would have to agree with you- the images are forever burned in my memory and I'm sure millions of others also- I never thought I would live to see such a horrible tragedy and I wish I hadn't lived to see it but I wish more now than ever that they would just get the people (soldiers) out of Iraq and home and let Iraq worry about their own troubles and let us go back to living in the SOMEWHAT peaceful way we did before!

The most shocking thing on television--huh--I think it would be the fact that Bob Saggat, Carrot Top, or Colin Quin had television shows at all!! Y'know they are supposed to be comedians, but in the comedy world they are like the rejects they show on the american Idol auditions--except they are not even that funny. I think the fact that they are on tv at all is a sign of the end of the world!!

When my eldest was an infant, CNN aired a female circumcision, done to a 12 year old girl, with a razor blade and no anethsia.

If you don't know what that is, look it up.

All I know is that it was deeply disturbing and I hugged my baby for a long time after that. And I still remember it too clearly.

I agree with you, it was unf****** believable. The worst thing I have ever seen on TV or even a movie. Bless those people and give comfort to their families and friends.

Yea...that was horrible:(

But I hate to watch those hidden videos of nannys abusing the babies they watch or nurses that abuse the elderly. They show it on the Maury show and I have to change the channel. I was shocked and saddened.

I agree with you, but everything seems the most shocking when it happens, like :the tsunami, the terrible earthquakes and hurricanes.

I thought I was dreaming. Someone had to slap me across the face and tell me that it was actually happening.
