the screen is sideways(right now its hard to type)i have to ip my lap top over 2 type.i drpped my hamsters stuff,and accidently pressed buttons on the comp.i didnt know what i pressed but my screen is sideways now(backgroun,screen saver,websites etc..)i need help,please help!

try pressing CTRL+ALT+up arrow or perhaps down arrow.

if your in the office call your manager or the computer support services directly. the terms your using are too confusing to do over the phone. computer terms are computer terms. most people cant ip over a laptop to type. if the screen is sideways on a laptop it indicates a broken LCD monitor or LCD controller card.
Your call needs to be prioritized, as in infront of customer, infront of medical help, on the phone with customer, even your a back office worker it can wait, unless you are printing a report that had to be done yesterday. I heard of this joke, the reason why the sales order went thru? the sales clerk marked it all RED ALERT for $1.99 on 1 item, the sales clerk is known in the company as an (*&(*& marking all sales as RED ALERT. LAST MINUTE! Even the personal business is marked RED ALERT for lunch at 10am.

Ok, right click on your desktop, click properties, then settings, then click advanced, there should be a rotation option, re-rotate your screen.

all you need to do to rever it back is by pressing ctrl+alt+up arrow key simultaneously.
